Gender & Masculinities Training Workshops
We conduct
tailor-made Critical Masculinities workshops and conferences that explore the
social construction of manhood, addressing “toxic” norms, and promoting
positive, inclusive masculinities. Our specialised workshops target
individuals, workplaces, schools, universities, and corporate environments
where engaging men is critical. We also assist with Gender-Transformative
Programming by co-designing interventions that challenge power imbalances and
promote equitable relationships with your organization.
Workplace Sexual Harassment and GBV Policy Development
Through our approach of engaging men as partners, we emphasise Violence Prevention & Allyship by developing workplace sexual harassment policies that include a Commitment Charter developed by all organisational actors to end Gender Based Violence (GBV) within the workplace. Using our bystander approach, we train men to identify and disrupt microaggressions, harassment, and systemic biases, helping them move from passive observers to active allies in the workplace.
Our Leadership & Emotional Intelligence program links masculinity to vulnerability and empathy to improve team psychological safety and leadership efficacy in your workplace. We also encourage the adoption of caring masculinities at home so that the impact of workplace masculinity transformation also extends to the home space, reinforcing positive workplace masculinities in return.
Fundraising & Proposal Development
Our fundraising and proposal-writing services are tailored to ensure your organisation’s long-term financial health. We assist with concept notes and full proposal writing to develop persuasive narratives that meet specific donor requirements. We help with developing realistic project budgets that are transparent and accurately reflect operational and programmatic costs.
This is impossible to achieve without a fundraising Strategy, which we can help you develop by mapping out multi-year plans with multiple funding streams to ensure sustainability. We provide assistance with donor landscape mapping by identifying institutional and private funders aligned with your organisation’s mission. We also conduct resource mobilisation audits to evaluate your organisation’s past fundraising campaigns and internal capacity to mobilise resources, and to identify areas for improvement with your fundraising team. We train your fundraising teams in donor relationship management by providing guidance on building trust with donors and turning one-time donors into long-term partners.
Organisational
Development
Our team focuses
on transforming organizational culture through a Gender and Masculinities lens.
This moves beyond traditional compliance with non-sexist rules to engage men as
active stakeholders in gender equality and dismantle restrictive stereotypes to
foster healthier, more inclusive workspaces. We take your organisation through
strategic planning processes, team-building activities, and strengthen your
organisational governance structures to enable your organisation to make an
impact in a gender-just way.
Program Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
Our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL) services are tailored for Gender and Masculinities interventions and focus on capturing the nuanced, often intangible shifts in attitudes, power dynamics, and social norms. We conduct capacity-building for your staff in gender-sensitive data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure accurate recording of the impact of your organisation’s interventions. We also conduct Gender Audits & Baseline Assessments to identify existing gender disparities and establish a foundation for measuring progress within your projects. Our approach emphasises skills transfer to your staff on results reporting, including production of high-quality donor reports and policy briefs that translate complex social data into actionable insights for program improvement.
Research and Training Manual Development
Our organisation trains your documentation team on turning evidence-based research into practical learning tools for gender-transformative change into accessible manuals. We conduct research to bridge the gap between academic theory and community action by developing high-impact resources that challenge harmful gender norms and promote equitable masculinities, which can be used for programming within your organisation.
Furthermore, we are fully equipped to assist you in developing conference posters, papers, and presentations that resonate with your target audiences, amplifying your organization’s impact and building a high profile for your work worldwide.
